SPECTRUM CHURCH KIDS… *

ARE INCLUDED

Kids aged Kindergarten up to 5th grade are encouraged to join their parents in the beginning of our worship time for music, prayer, and communion (the 1st Sunday of each month), and then are dismissed to meet their teachers prior to the sermon. We value a time where kids can see their parents and other adults worshipping God in community, but we understand that having a special kid-friendly environment for learning, activities, and fun is valuable as well. Children up to Kindergarten age can be checked in and taken to their class prior to the beginning of our service.

are Taught who god is and what he’s done through his son jesus christ

We use the Gospel Project curriculum, based on God’s grand story of redemption and salvation as described in the Bible, with Jesus as the hero. Through weekly group Bible teaching, discussion, prayer, games and creative arts, our children discover how God’s plan of redemption unfolds throughout Scripture and still today.  It helps children understand and want to join God’s mission in the world.   The curriculum is theological as well as practical and age appropriate.  As children learn to center their lives on the gospel, the desire to be “good” is focused on the transformation that comes from living by faith in Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

are always welcome!

Visiting on a Sunday is easy. When you arrive, you’ll fill out a child participation and information form. Kids stay in the classroom until the worship service is over, and parents are asked to sign them out of their classrooms with their teacher.

Safe and Secure

We want you to enjoy the service without worry. Each of our classes has a lead adult teacher and adult or mature youth assistant. All of our regular volunteers and staff have gone through background checks and Mandated Reporter training.
