The mission of Planting Futures Baja is to partner with churches and families in Mexico to transform communities. This is accomplished primarily through education sponsorships, which eliminate economic barriers and empower students. Kids from elementary school through university receive help with their educational costs, including a backpack with necessary school supplies. We'll be packing 48 backpacks for 48 students who are not currently sponsored but who would greatly benefit from something that most of our families take for granted. 

We would welcome your help to bless these children in a tangible way by gathering the products for the backpacks. Please follow the directions below to purchase the needed items from Amazon.

  • Please complete your purchases no later than September 11 to allow time for shipping and for us to purchase any missing items

Deuteronomy to Acts -- The Promise and the Power. We’re excited to explore the dramatic conclusion to “Deuteronomy” and begin the incredible Bible-events of “Acts." 

The promises of Deuteronomy continue to be revealed in Acts:

* God is faithful to keep His promises made in Deuteronomy, promises both unconditional and conditional  

* Acts demonstrates in vivid reality the fulfillment of God’s promise given in Deuteronomy 30:6 (stay tuned).  

* The dynamic energy of Acts reminds us that the power of the Holy Spirit is available in our lives every day  

* While studying this book, we’ll have opportunities to share our ‘God stories’ and our struggles to ‘live in the Spirit’

Remembering Norm Kendall

The memorial service for Norm Kendall, who passed away last month and went home to be with the Lord, will be Saturday, August 29, at 2:00 pm at the Ministry Center, with light refreshments to follow. In terms of attire, given Norm's love of the Dodgers, please come in Dodger blue if you can.
